From the Pastor’s Desk 11-17-19

1. This coming Sunday in our two morning worships services, I will be bringing forth a message on: “Encouragement, A Power Tool”. Every Believer Needs to be in involved in encouraging others.

2. On Septemeber 11, I will be begin an exposition or verse by verse study of the book of Colossians. We don’t need a new message from God. Everything we need to know is found in the person of Jesus!
This book describes the all-sufficient greatness of Christ and how we can grow in His knowledge and grace.

3. Every Wednesday evening, we are going through the book of John. We are in the fifth chapter.
In this newsletter, I have an article on John 3:16 that was preached a couple of months ago. This is a readers digest condensation of the message or teaching that was delivered. It is a great book.

4. This coming Sunday is the ‘Marathon Run”. The tunnel tree road will be closed at 6:00 a.m. and re-open at 8 a.m. We will still be having our two morning worship services at the regular times: 8:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. We had a pretty good turn out last year for our early service, thinking hardly anyone would attend because of this yearly event.
